Roles

Different positions to partake in the project

Users/Scientists (Project Creators):

Users or scientists are the individuals or organizations who create and post research projects on the Labda platform. They define the research goals, the methodology, and the funding requirements, represented as "Research Points." These users invite support from the community to fund their ideas using Labda tokens or ETH. By posting their projects, users/scientists have the opportunity to raise the necessary resources to bring their research to life.

Researchers:

Researchers are the individuals who take on the work of executing the projects posted by users/scientists. They receive funding from users/scientists in exchange for conducting the research, collecting data, and producing results. Researchers may also collaborate with blockchain scientists to address specific challenges within the research, and can further contribute to the platform's scientific advancements.

Validators/Stakers (Network Maintainers):

Validators play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity and efficiency of Labda 's blockchain. They stake Labda tokens to validate and secure transactions within the network. In return, they earn rewards proportional to their stake and contributions. This Proof of Stake mechanism ensures that the platform operates transparently and efficiently while incentivizing active participation. Validators are essential to the system's decentralized nature, ensuring trust and reliability across the ecosystem.
